Personal Statement
As a teacher, students have complimented me on both my laid-back style and the level of challenge I bring to the classroom. Additionally, I am energetic and infuse a good-natured sense of humor to the work I do with students. I love teaching and I do so with enthusiasm and dedication.
Tutoring Approach/Experience
In tutoring, innovation is key. When students look beyond their regular school day for additional help, it is important to give them a learning experience that goes beyond their regular school day as well. As a result, it is critical to get to know the personalities, strengths, and challenges of each tutoring student and adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each individual. I do this by working to understand where the student is academically and by identifying areas of talent or strength that can be used to improve areas where growth or improvement is needed.
